The story

A short film inspired by the real story of its protagonists, Laioung and Alessandro Egger, with Martin Scorsese's “Bad” as its aesthetic reference. It revisits the memories of the neighbourhood and the hard times of the past — selling beats, wearing the same shoes all year — and how perseverance led them to success.

Atmosphere and rhythm

My work as editor shaped a reflective, atmospheric piece: deep conversations intercut with urban scenes and shots of Milan, supported by a carefully chosen selection of music and sound.

Success and the iceberg

The protagonists talk about loyalty, humility, the value of constant effort and staying true to their roots despite having earned recognition. The iceberg stands for the envy and jealousy of those who criticise from inaction, in contrast with the constructive attitude of moving forward.
